Three Proven Ways To Qualify Business-to-Business Leads

Monday, April 7th, 2008

By Justin Hitt In previous articles, I’ve shared with you the value and importance of qualifying every lead you receive. Ideally, you’ll have a lead generation system that helps you do this, but how exactly do you qualify leads? How you qualify leads is critical to lead quality. In my coaching programs, I share literally hundreds of ways to qualify business-to-business leads, too many to list here, but at least start by… Creating a profile of buyers — You want to attract buyers not inquirers, those individuals who really purchase your solutions. Focus on these people first, because the key objective of lead generation is to start the selling process.Remember, it’s a selling process — In lead generation, all you are doing is getting new names into your selling funnel. This means just find out who sales wants to talk with, don’t try to sell.Use multiple channels — Understand a hundred lead generation tools that attract one prospect is better than one method that attracts one-hundred. Leads are fickle and may prefer one method to another. More leads mean a handsome bonus for you, if you know how to qualify leads. Traditional techniques don’t work as well for everyone, so be sure to try everything you can find, testing each method against another. You don’t have to change much to improve your results, but wherever you start, start with lead quality. For a free course that goes into detail more about business-to-business lead generation, be sure to visit http://b2barticles.com/17EasyWays/ As you measure the results of lead generation campaigns, you’ll discover for yourself exactly what works and what doesn’t. When you understand who buys your products, you’ll know where to look for them. Lead generation is the precursor to a sale, not a hobby of marketing that keeps them busy. Track the source of each lead, periodically review your results, and you’ll be on the way to attract qualified leads that turn into sales quickly. For a first date, it is a very big turn off especially for a girl if you invite to go to your apartment. Again, to have a first date means know your date better. The best way to achieve this is through talking. Find a silent place so that both of you would understand each other. Never look for a dark place. It is very important that on your first date, you have to see each other while talking. That would definitely laugh your date. Ask a lot of questions. The more questions you would be asking the easier to hold conversations of any topic. Listening makes others feel very important. Generally, girls love to talk. So have your full ears in listening because she will feel how important she is. Also, never interrupt when she is talking. Never impress your date. The worst thing you can do when talking with a girl is to let her know how rich you are, that you have to Mercedes Benz at home or any topic that would allows you to impress her. Plan your date. It is very important to have a plan to have an organize date. Set a date and time as to when you will meet, set a place where would you eat, etc. Other places to have a perfect date would be, watching ball games, such NBA, major league baseball, football. Feel the Beat

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

By Kurt Mortensen Music is much like smells in that our brains link music with attitudes and experiences from our past. Music is closely tied to our emotions. Think of the theme music from Rocky and then think of Jaws; the two movie themes evoke different emotions, don’t they? Local gyms pipe upbeat music outside to get passersby to associate it with high energy and good times inside. In one case, a local convenience store had problems with teenagers loitering outside. The store wanted the teenagers’ business, but didn’t want the drugs and fights that seemed to go with it. To that end, they decided to play a Frank Sinatra song outside the store and soon found that the teenagers voluntarily stopped loitering. On a personal level, you may still remember that particular song played during the dance with your high school flame. Music has a powerful pull on all of us and triggers instant memories. Because music is so powerful, persuaders need to carefully select the songs they’re going to use. Advertisers often use a popular song or a catchy jingle. Notice the next time you watch television how many songs you recognize from all the commercials-you will probably be surprised. Every time the ad is played, the tune reinforces the product’s appeal. Music is universal because it has the power to evoke the emotions shared by all of humanity. Kurt Mortensens trademark is Magnetic Persuasion; rather than convincing others, he teaches that you should attract them, just like a magnet attracts metal filings. He teaches that sales have changed and the consumer has become exponentially more skeptical and cynical within the last five years. Most persuaders are using only 2 or 3 persuasion techniques when there are actually 120 available! His message and program has helped thousands and will help you achieve unprecedented success in both your business and personal life. Complaining About Work? Here’s the One Change You Need!

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

By Tom Richard How often do you think or say something like: Thats not my job. They dont pay me to do that This company couldnt function without me! I should be making more money! If that sounds like you, you have no one to blame but yourself. You are complaining about the outcome of decisions that YOU have made. YOU choose your job, the compensation you receive, and the way you conduct yourself. Time for Change As a business professional, you are not entitled to anything. So you have perfect attendance and you get great performance reviews; so what? That still doesnt mean that youre entitled to anything. The only way to change your results is by changing your attitude, and working to become a more valuable version of yourself.Be More Valuable, Get Greater Rewards Every business person provides value to someone. The amount of value that you provide DIRECTLY affects the rewards that you receive for your work. When you become more valuable, you will receive greater rewards. To become more valuable, you must first know how valuable you are now. Ask yourself: 1. Who do I serve? 2. What service/value do I provide for these people? Once you have answered these questions, the next important question is: How can I provide more value? Maximize your time, maximize your results. Focus your energy on the quality of service you give while at work. You know that you can make better use of the time you spend on the job. Forget about what the person next to you is doing! Spend YOUR time wisely to increase the amount of value you provide. You will see better results without having to invest more time at work. Do what is right, EVERY time. We often find ourselves in situations that test our morals and values. Trust yourself and do what is right, EVERY time, without question. It may not seem to bring immediate rewards, but it will ALWAYS pay off in the end. Learn something newEVERY day. Traditional education doesnt always prepare you for the real world. The skills and experience you gain on your own while on the job is usually what prepares you for your station in life. Accept the fact that you are NEVER done learning. Renew your passion for your work by sharpening your craft constantly. Do more than you are paid for. Quit whining about the duties you are asked to do that arent listed in your job description. If you truly want to become a more valuable business person, you must learn to get over your silly self and do more than you are paid for. As Napolean Hill says, The man who does more than he is paid for will soon be paid for more than he does. Go the extra mile without expecting compensation for it. Do it because you are proud of the service that you provide and want to increase the amount of value you give to the community. YOU are the only one who has the power to change the value you provide for others, and the ability to increase the rewards you receive for that value. Do your job well and be proud of the service you provide. When youre mediocre, your results will remain mediocre; but when youre valuable, your rewards will be great!
